These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stravus website, assessments, reports, platform features, and related services (“Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. About Stravus
Stravus is operated by Jeroen van Amerongen, a sole trader, trading as Stravus (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Stravus provides digital business diagnostics, insights, and strategic guidance tools, including AI-generated assessments and reports.
2. Nature of the Services
The Services provide general business insights and diagnostics only.
They:
are not regulated services
do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, employment, compliance, or investment advice
are intended to support decision-making, not replace professional judgement
You remain solely responsible for all decisions made based on outputs from the Services.
3. AI-Generated Content
Some outputs provided through Stravus are generated using artificial intelligence.
Where indicated:
certain reports or submissions may be reviewed and verified by a human prior to delivery
other interactions (such as 1:1 chat features) may be purely AI-driven
AI systems may produce incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate information. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any specific purpose.
4. No Professional Advice
Nothing provided through Stravus constitutes professional advice of any kind.
You should seek independent advice from qualified professionals before making decisions that may affect your business, finances, people, or legal obligations.
5. User Responsibilities
By using the Services, you agree that you will:
provide accurate and truthful information
use the Services for lawful purposes only
not rely solely on outputs for critical or regulated decisions
comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
You acknowledge that outcomes depend on many external factors beyond our control.
6. Accounts & Access
We may require you to provide certain information to access parts of the Services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:
you breach these Terms
you misuse the Services
your use creates legal, security, or operational risk
7. Payments
Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers (such as Stripe).
We do not store full credit card details or sensitive payment information.
By making a purchase, you agree to the pricing, delivery method, and terms displayed at the time of purchase.
8. Refund Policy
All Services are digital in nature.
Once a digital product (including assessments, reports, or submissions) has been delivered, it is non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law or in cases of duplicate payment or technical error.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
9. Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to:
system load
AI processing time
verification steps
technical factors
We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control.
10. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains:
what data we collect
how it is used
where it may be stored or processed
your rights in relation to your data
Data may be processed and stored using third-party providers in multiple regions, including outside Australia.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, frameworks, methodologies, text, visuals, and outputs provided through Stravus remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use outputs for your internal business purposes only.
You must not:
reproduce
resell
distribute
reverse engineer
commercially exploit
any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
12. Acceptable Use
You must not:
misuse the Services
submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
interfere with system security or functionality
attempt to access systems or data not intended for you
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
13. Sanctions & Restricted Jurisdictions
We do not provide Services to individuals or entities located in countries or regions subject to international sanctions, including those imposed by Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, or the European Union.
We may restrict access where required to comply with applicable laws.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
We do not guarantee business outcomes, performance improvements, or results
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:
your misuse of the Services
your breach of these Terms
decisions you make based on outputs
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
